The mirror covers are designed to protect the mirrors from rocks and other objects on the road. They are designed with an addition of felt around the bottom to protect the material from rubbing the paint and additional stitching along the sides for extra strength. In addition to the Velcro that holds the cover in position, a expandable cord has been added to pull the material around the front of the mirror or additional security to hold the cover in place
